Michael C. Stratos, Real Estate Acquisitions. Mike is a Principal of ECAP, and has over 35 years of real estate investment and asset management experience. Prior to joining ECAP, Mike negotiated and structured both debt and equity investments for real estate assets of all asset classes, with an aggregate value of over $2 billion. He has extensive experience working with developers, contractors, and lenders in conjunction with the acquisition of real estate projects throughout the United States, and has structured real estate investments that included, but were not limited to, direct ownership, participating mortgages, general or limited partnerships, syndications, joint ventures or other entities to acquire, hold, develop, manage or otherwise deal in real property interests. He provides the necessary financial analysis, acquisition oversight and disposition management skills for all real estate assets.

Upon joining ECAP, Mike assumed the primary role of identifying and underwriting commercial real estate acquisitions for the various Funds managed by ECAP. In this capacity, Mike has successfully sourced non-brokered transactions by going into targeted markets to more fully understand the local economy and identify successful developers. Mike earned a B.S. in finance from American University and has compiled post graduate studies towards his MBA at George Mason University. In his free time, Mike enjoys being hands-on around the house, clay shooting sports and hiking with his American Dingo, Lilo.
