Barry Johnson, MAI, SRA, CCIM, Principal & Capital Markets Director. Barry is a Principal of ECAP and has over 20 years of commercial real estate and investment experience. Prior to joining ECAP, Barry was Managing Director of a family office portfolio with assets exceeding $350 Million in Net Asset Value. Barry also has previously served as Managing Director of Funds for a national real estate private equity firm, managing numerous funds with over $500 million in aggregate AUM. Barry has been responsible for acquisitions, asset management, capital raising, cash management, inves-tor relations, asset valuations, and securities structuring.

As a Principal at ECAP, Barry’s primary role consists of capital formation and investor relations. Barry completed both his undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of Denver earning a B.S. and MBA focused on Real Estate and has since returned on numerous occasions as a guest lecturer. As a professional he has obtained the CCIM, MAI (retired), and SRA (retired) designations from the CCIM Institute and the Appraisal Institute. Barry and his wife Danielle live in Steamboat Springs, CO and spend their time cooking and enjoying the array of outdoor activities in NW Colorado.
