David M. Zarnoch, Ph.D. Principal/Partner. Dave is a Principal and one of the founders of ECAP. He has over 40 years of commercial and investment banking experience. Prior to joining Scott to help start ECAP, he was the Director of Commercial Lending for a major regional bank. In that capacity, he was responsible for the overall management, growth, and profitability of a $5 billion commercial loan portfolio that included over $1 billion of commercial real estate loans. At one time, he was also Director of Acquisitions and Development for a mid-sized owner/operator of commercial television stations that strategically positioned itself to be acquired as part of the consolidation play in that industry.

Dave graduated in 1970 from Bethany College with a B.A. in economics and received his Ph. D. in economics from West Virginia University in 1973. He is an avid sports fan, actively following his favorite major league baseball and national hockey league teams as well as his favorite golfers on the PGA tour. He tries to play golf as much as possible. At the present time, he thoroughly enjoys helping his oldest grandson learn to play and enjoy the game of golf.
